Should You Use All-Natural Cosmetics?

Many females want to know if they should to change to natural cosmetic products. Just like any other subject there are great arguments from manufacturers and doctors on both sides of this topic. Dr. Roberta Palestine, who did her residency at the Mayo Clinic in dermatology believes, "Herbal isn't always the best. Synthetic isn't always the worst. Poison Sumac is organic, but that definitely doesn't make it goodPoison Sumac are terrible to put on your faceā€¦a chemical is a chemical, what matters is your skin type." There are definitely many of skin types out there, and you can bet for every type there's a variety of make-up products for that particular kind.

It is very important to use the new makeup and only the new cosmetics when switching to organic products. The skin needs a certain period of time before it can transition, and this can only happen if it has consistent applications from the new organic makeup. By doing this, the face only has to go through the adjustment period one time. If customers are thinking about making the change, it is important to pay attention to the ingredients in a product that claims to be all natural. Do some research before testing out a new skin care line to see if it is a reputable company that uses high quality ingredients and guarantees the products they produce. So should consumers make the change? Not all people need to change the makeup they use but if you are have any irritated skin its a good thing to consider. Often women will be sensitive to a product and not even realize it. Over the years, women get used to parched, irritated skin that comes from repeated use of the types of make-up they wear outside and to their jobs. Women who apply a foundation make-up to smooth out the skin tone on their faces will dry out and irritate their skin so each time is a bit worse. People with sensitive skin should avoid products with fragrances, mineral oil, formaldehyde, and alcohol. These chemicals will all remove excess moisture from the skin and cause irritation.

Women who are affected from allergies and have been limited on their choices in make-up now have more options as more manufacturers come out with products that are gentle on the epidermis and hypoallergenic. The word "hypoallergenic" has no medical definition, as it is yet to be proven what ingredients reduce allergens. So are organic cosmetics products all that they are built up to be? A brief look at the ingredients list will tell the user what the key ingredients are on a product because they are listed in order of volume ratio. Often times, the ingredients will be listed on the packaging the make-up came in.
