Trying to Lose the Cellulite? Do Exercise

Cellulite is a substance that is bumpy in shape and is commonly found on the leg area, thighs, stomach, and butt. It is fat that has transported itself to the upper layer of the skin by hooking to the connective tissue. Cellulite mostly is seen on women and is often described as an orange peel or cottage cheese. It is regularly described as an orange peel, mattress, or cottage cheese that generally appears on women. Every once in a while men will get it, but 90 to 98% of cellulite takes place in women. Originally named cellulitis, it was described by the french over 150 years in the past. Some physicians nowadays call it the so-called cellulite and don't recognize it as a type of skin condition. But if is not a skin condition, then why is it so tough to get rid of? The key may be different than what you may think.

Many women are affected by cellulite. It occurs when the adipose cells in the subcutaneous layer of the skin develop unevenly and give the skin a bumpy appearance. The fat cells are held together by collagen, the connective tissue that provides the framework for the epidermis. Extending and pulling are allowed from the elastic tissues found in the collagen. Larger women will commonly have a more pronounced development of cellulite, but it can be found on very slender women as well. This is due to the person's skin structure, which is basically genes.

The only actual solution to eliminate the cellulite is diet and cardiovascular activity. Women who have cellulite and want to get rid of it should get on a reduced calorie diet to lower the amount of body fat they have. Exercising 3-5 times a week with regular weight resistance and aerobics will greatly reduce body fat. Cycling, jogging, or swimming are activities that women can participate in that are fun and have aerobic benefits also. Weight resistance training is essential because the level of skin that contains cellulite lies on top of the muscles. If muscle groups are not strengthened, they are more vulnerable to the bumpy look of the epidermis.

The skin becomes more susceptible to excess adipose cells and reaches it's top thickness about the time women age to 30. An unhealthy diet and little exercise will increase this susceptibility. 20 to 25% body fat, with most of that stored on the thighs and butt, is the normal range of body fat for a healthy woman. When women lose weight, the fat cells do not change in formation and leave cellulite formation even with a significant drop in pounds. To avoid this, doctors advise women losing weight slowly and progressively with a nutritious diet and regular working out. An even more obvious case of cellulite can appear when women attempt trendy diets or try to lose the weight too quickly.

Women of every race in all lands are affected by cellulite. There are a plethora of different products that guarantee to smooth out the skin and take away the bumpiness, but none really have any kind of permanent effect on the skin looks. A few of the products will temporarily reduce the girth of the thighs, but they go back to normal when the treatments are ceased. Liposuction is not advised because it can make the uneven skin appearance even more pronounced after the operation. Epidermal massaging treatments and Endermology may move fat cells around a little and puff up the skin tissue some, but it does little good in removing cellulite.

Cellulite is a little more than simply fat beneath the skin. Women who have experienced cellulite or are going through it at this moment might be tempted to try one of the numerous products, but remember they have no proven lasting efficiency. Studies show that women athletes with a low percentage of body fat are the least likely to have problems with cellulite. When it comes to eliminating the bumpiness, your best chance is going to be a nutritional diet and routine exercise.
