What is Different with Anaerobic Exercise and Why is it Necessary For Everyone?


Cardiovascular exercise is something that everyone on the earth needs to do. For health and a good quality of life, cardiovascular fitness is necessary no matter who you are. It has a lot of benefits and can improve life for people in a variety of various ways. Aerobic and anaerobic are the kinds of cardiovascular exercise. Why is it necessary to do either one of these?

In general, anaerobic exercise ends up burning less calories than aerobic exercise does, but it does build muscle and lean body mass. As more energy is burned with muscle that replaces fat cells, muscle and lean body mass inceaseIncreased muscle mass leads to lost weight and a leaner figure as muscle groups burn more energy than fat cells. A shortage of oxygen to the muscles occurs when you start to exercise anaerobically. With anaerobic training the body can become better equipped to handle fatigue. As the endurance level rises, the body produces less lactic acid and the removal of it from the bloodstream becomes more efficient. With fortified muscles, the groups can operate at 12% - 50% more efficiently, letting the body to accumulate greater levels of lactic acid during exercise. The lactic acid that is produced is what causes muscle fatigue. The lactic acid produced must be used up during a rest period before more anaerobic exercise is attempted. During anaerobics, oxygen is used by the muscles to restore burned energy. Lactic acid removal can become more efficient with training. Some examples of anaerobic exercise are; sprinting, hill climbing, running intervals, jumping rope, and various activities that take large bursts of energy.

Exertion that is lower in exertion level and greater in time span is called aerobic exercise. The word aerobic means with air or with oxygen. Aerobic exercise is done to train the muscles to be more energetic for longer amounts of time. It is commonly known as endurance training or cross training. Swimming, biking, waliking, or jogging are some kinds of aerobic exertion. To maintain the body's energy level, a large amount of oxygen is required to create the essential energy. Aerobic activity is essential for maximum health and enhanced performance.

Anaerobic exercise is not the same as aerobics in that it is usually performed in a shorter time frame at a higher intensity. The word anaerobic means without air or without oxygen. As the body is exherted in very hard activities it creates a substance known as lactic acid to maintain it's energy. If aerobic exercise is performed to increase endurance, anaerobic exercise is to raise muscle strength for times when big levels of energy are necessary in a small period of time.

Anaerobic training is recommended for people who have already reached a certain level of fitness and are attempting to increase speed, agility, and strength. People need to do a fair amount of aerobic warming up and stretching previous to and after an anaerobic exercise session. It is not recommended to do anaerobic exercise if you are pregnant. Also, if you are a novice to physical activity, you should begin at about 50% intensity rate for your particular fitness level.
