Medications to Refrain From for Candidiasis

If you are being affected by a yeast infection, don't feel alone. At some point in their lives, an estimated 75% of the earth's population will go through a yeast infection. Basically, you can come down with a yeast infection no matter if you are young or mature or African or Venezuelan. A yeast infection, or Candidiasis if you want to get technical, is not a serious risk to your health but an irritating problem usually. But sometimes when trying to cure a yeast infection with a solution seen in different magazines or web sites you can make the infection worse.

If you think you have Candidiasis, the first thing you should do is go to your doctor. After an initial appointment to establish that your affliction is in reality a yeast infection, you should be able to identify the signs yourself if there are any future occurrences. If there is not actually an infection you don't want to treat yourself for it, so the initial visit to the doctor is important. If someone uses a topical cream or takes medication for Candidiasis without there being an infection, the body will develop an immunity to the treatment and be much more resistant to it than before.

One pretty common suggestion for a treatment is the use of tea tree oil. It should not be consumed orally even though in some instances it can be helpful. The correct dose for fighting off Candidiasis has not yet been discovered. It can be lethal for someone if an excess is consumed.

Garlic oil is another product to stay away from. Botulism spores thrive in the ground where the garlic is grown as well. When there is not enough oxygen the spores flourish, as with garlic mixed with oil. Serious illness or sometimes death can result from this scentless poison.

Be sure to avoid these products and do the research if you are looking for a treatment. A cure that will work and poses no health problems can be found with a little research. There are countless treatments to cure yourself applying in house or organic treatments without the risk or side effects of the problems explained above.
