Should People Use All-Natural Beauty Products?

Many women want to know if they should to change to natural makeup products. There are plenty of companies, advertisements, and "experts" who could probably give you a very assuring argument either way. Dr. Roberta Palestine, who did her residency at the Mayo Clinic in dermatology stated, "Organic isn't always the best. Manufactured isn't necessarily the worst. Some organic plants likePoison Oak are not good for you at all…a chemical is a chemical, what is important is the skin type." There are so many different cosmetic choices because there are so many different skin types, if you take the time you can get one that fits your face.

Women who are affected from allergens and have been limited on their choices in make-up now have more options as more companies come out with products that are gentle on the epidermis and hypoallergenic. The word "hypoallergenic" has no medical definition, as it is still not proven what ingredients reduce allergens. Many females want to know if they are getting a good product when purchasing a natural cosmetic product. Just look at the label on the back of the package, there will be a list of ingredients that you can compare to other products.

When changing cosmetics many times the skin will have to go through a readjustment period. Therefore women who are considering about switching to natural beauty products should go with it totally. By doing this, the skin only has to undergo the adjustment phase one time. If you are considering making the switch, it is important to be aware of the ingredients in a product that says it's natural. Do some research before testing out a new make-up line to see if it is a trustworthy producer that uses high quality ingredients and stands behind the products they manufacture. So should you make the change? It's an issue of personal decision but if you think the beauty products you currently use are affecting your skin, at least consider it. Often women will be sensitive to a product and not even realize it. Over the years, women get used to dry, itchy skin that comes from repeated use of the types of cosmetics they wear out in public and to their jobs. Ladies who wear a foundation make-up to smooth out the skin color on their faces will dry out and aggravate their skin so each day is a little worse. Women with delicate skin should avoid products with perfumes, mineral oil, formaldehyde, and alcohol. These substances will all dry out the skin and cause aggravation.
