Wearing make-up can be a bother sometimes, as most ladies know. Even when you don't feel like it, you always have to apply it. And a million things out in the world just seem to be waiting to ruin all the hard work you have done on your face when you go outdoors. The good thing is that there's a variety of stuff that you can do to keep the make-up and lipstick on and looking beautiful. Here are some things you can do to keep the lipstick looking fabulous and lasting a longer time.

Use a liner previous to applying lipstick. If you fill in your lips with lip liner it will make the coat of lipstick last longer. Be sure the liner hue coordinates with the lipstick. It looks tacky if you have a darker liner with a light lipstick. If you apply a nude lip liner, use a light hue lipstick. Mix the lipstick on top of the liner after you have done the lips. If you find youself with no blush, lipstick can be substituted. Just never substitute blush as lipstick, it doesn't do well.

Mature females should have creamier lipsticks applied. Women should stay away from lipsticks that are matte or shiny and go with duller, more natural colors. Women should try to stay away from brown and orange colors of lipstick. Your teeth can appear to be stained yellow if it smears on your teeth. Close your mouth around your middle finger and pull out. The extra lipstick will wipe off on the finger and leave your teeth bright and shiny.

To start with, getting the lipstick.Try using hues that are versatile with a plethora of looks and outfits. Do not try out the potential lipstick on your lips. It's unhygienic. The fingers are the nearest match to the pigment of the lips. If you find you have some of your most used hue at the bottom of the tube you can take the rest out and store it in a compact plastic storage jar. When you are ready to apply it again, just use the lip brush from the discarded storage jar.

When ladies apply the liner to their lips before the lipstick it tends to flake up and fall off quickly. Licking the edge of a cup before they touch their lips to it is effective for women wearing lipstick. The side of the glass keeps from getting smeared this way. Remember that liner will make gloss last much longer than being alone.

If you can't find the best hue to go with the outfit or look you're going with that day, try blending some lipsticks for a completely new color. Begin with a matte as a base and top it off with a shiny or glossy colored lipstick. You may need a touch of another hue so don't dispose of your old bad colors. Applying just a smidgen of gloss in the center of the lower lip and lining the rim of the lips is what big lipped females do.
