Should Consumers Make The Change to Organic Beauty Products?

Many women want to know if they should to switch to natural cosmetic products. Just like any other subject there are great debates from manufacturers and dermatologists on both sides of this subject. Dr. Roberta Palestine, who did her residency at the Mayo Clinic in dermatology believes, "Organic isn't always better. Synthetic isn't always worse. Some natural plants likePoison Sumac are terrible to put on your skin…a chemical is a chemical, what makes the difference is the skin type." There are definitely a lot of types of skin out there, and you can be assured for every type there's a number of make-up products for that particular kind.

When changing beauty products often times the skin will have to undergo a readjustment time. So women who are contemplating about switching to natural make-up should go with it fully. By doing it this way, the skin only has to go through the adjustment phase one time. If customers are considering making the change, it is important to consider the ingredients in a product that says it's all natural. Do a little research before testing out a new make-up line to see if it is a trustworthy manufacturer that uses superior ingredients and backs the goods they make. So should women make the change? Not everyone needs to switch the makeup they use but if you are have any irritated skin its a good thing to consider. Most females use the same product everyday when they go into public. This can create dryand irritated skin that most people don't realize. Women who apply a base make-up to smooth out the skin color on their faces will dry out and irritate their skin so each day is a bit worse. Women with sensitive skin should avoid products with perfumes, mineral oil, formaldehyde, and alcohol. These substances will all dry out the skin and cause irritation.

With new advancements in makeup, females that are allergic now have an option of purchasing hypoallergenic makeup that is easy on the face. There is no real medical definition for the word hypoallergenic, because dermatologists aren't sure what products will reduce allergens. So are all-natural cosmetics products all that they are cracked up to be? A brief look at the ingredients list will tell the user what the main ingredients are on a product because they are listed in order of volume ratio. Often, the ingredients will be listed on the packaging the make-up came in.
