Working out and diet are the only real ways to get rid of cellulite. Women who have cellulite and want to get rid of it should go on a reduced calorie diet to lower the excess body fat they have. Working out 3-5 times a week with routine weight lifting and cardiovascular exercise will significantly lower body fat. Women should choose activities that are fun and offer aerobic advantages like swimming, jogging, or cycling. Weight training is important because the layer of skin that contains cellulite lies on top of the muscles. Strengthened muscles are less susceptible to the bumpy appearance of cellulite.

Cellulite affects in women in all countries and in every race. There are thousands of different products that claim to smooth out the skin and get rid of the lumpiness, but none seem to have any kind of permanent effect on the epidermal looks. A few of them will temporarily reduce the circumference of the thighs, but they return to normal when the applications are ceased. A more apparent uneven top layer can be caused by liposuction, therefore it is not recommended. Other methods that can move the fat cells around but doesn't do much in removing cellulite are the skin massaging treatments or Endermology.

Cellulite is a bit more than simply fat under the skin. Women who have experienced cellulite or are going through it right now may be tempted to test out one of the hundreds of different products, but remember they have no proven lasting efficiency. Studies show that women athletes with a low percentage of body fat are the least likely to have issues with cellulite. When it comes to losing the lumpiness, your best solution is going to be a nutritional diet and routine exercise.
