Should Consumers Use Organic Cosmetics?

Many females want to know if they should to switch to natural makeup products. Just like any other subject there are great debates from makeup companies and dermatologists on both sides of this subject. Dr. Roberta Palestine, who did her schooling at the Mayo Clinic in dermatology stated, "Natural isn't always the best. Manufactured isn't necessarily the worst. Some organic plants likePoison Sumac are not good for you at all…a chemical is a chemical, what matters is your skin type." There are certainly many of skin types out there, and you can bet for every type there's a variety of make-up products for that particular kind.

It is very important to use the new makeup and only the new cosmetics when switching to natural makeup. The skin needs a certain period of time before it can transition, and this can only happen if it has consistent applications from the new natural makeup. By doing it this way, the skin only has to undergo the adjustment phase a single time. If consumers are thinking about making the adjustment, it is important to be aware of what's inside a product that says it's organic. Do a little research before trying out a new skin care line to see if it is a trustworthy company that uses quality ingredients and backs the goods they produce. So should you make the switch? It's a matter of personal choice but if you think the goods you currently use are no good for your skin, at least consider it. Women who suffer from allergens and not had their choices in cosmetics now have more options as more manufacturers come out with products that are gentle on the skin and hypoallergenic. It should be noted that "hypoallergenic" has no official medical definition, as it is yet to be determined what ingredients reduce allergies. Many females want to know if they are getting a good product when buying a natural cosmetic product. Just glance at the label on the back of the package, there will be a list of ingredients that you can compare to other products.

Most women use the same product everyday when they leave the house. This can cause parchedand irritated skin that most women don't realize. Ladies who wear a foundation make-up to even out the skin tone on their faces will dry out and aggravate their skin so each day is a bit worse. People with sensitive skin should avoid products with fragrances, mineral oil, formaldehyde, and alcohol. These substances will all dry out the skin and cause irritation.
