In addition to my esoteric academic or gustatory obsessions, I also have made a minor cause of George Lucas's revisions to the original three Star Wars movies. Especially his decision to add an extra shot to the Cantina showdown between Han Solo and Greedo. In the real movie, Solo shoots Greedo under the table while the latter is talking tough. In the new movie, Greedo squeezes off a shot at Han first (which goes wide). The illicit change recasts Solo from seedy rogue to lucky duck, and I will have none of it. (See here and here).
